This week updates

Hello!!!

There were quite a few "events" this week and while I did not join all the "event" as a participant, I joined as a spectator.

The first big event being Skate Asia 2016. Being a fan for ice skating, how can I not join this event? Thankfully, it is hosted in Sunway Pyramid for a week, which I got to have a chance to participate as a spectator. However, being one is not quite easy for me as I had to run to and fro -my college and Sunway Pyramid - during my one hour lunch break, just to have a glimpse of the competition. Even though it is merely a 30 minutes watch or less, I was quite happy with it and did not regret going it, despite being super sleepy after that.

I have no idea which category did I watch as I joined in halfway through the competition, but I'm pretty sure they were ladies' single and I was pretty lucky to be able to watch a synchronised skating as well (which I only knew of its existence lately). Although they were not on par to the pro skaters, I actually saw some pretty cool ones. Besides, being able to watch a competition directly is totally different from watching over the screen, which made me really excited and I have no complaint about it.

The amazing spins!!
Beautiful spiral!!!

And, in my opinion, the more professional ones:

And synchronised skating:

The feeling is indescribable when I see the skaters skate freely on ice without fear (of course, fear does exist, the fall is so painful >.<). It feels that only you exist, and no other, doing what you want and what you like.

On Friday, my mum treated my sister and I to Sakae Sushi as my sister finally graduated and she got a decent result for her final. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ The most amazing thing we ate:

And a nabe, which we originally thought we ordered a ramen, but it came out to be otherwise. So, that was my very first nabe.

On to the next event. Since Pokemon Go has launched in Malaysia, many restaurants and business owners have used this opportunity to attract customers. Sunway Pyramid is not an exception. For the whole week, they put lure modules in certain areas, which certainly did attract a lot of people to Catch Em' All. Look at the amount of lures, it certainly does attract lots of trainers.

Excuse my low level as I was taking my sweet time catching Pokemon
They also had this event yesterday, where those who caught Pokemon of the day stand a chance to win an iPhone 6S, Thomas Sabo bracelet and Watson products as a grand prize. Apparently,  those who costumed up has a higher chance of winning it. Originally,   I wanted to join this event but because I have low to no gps signal in indoor, I decided to give up.

The next - I have completed Japanese lesson Intermediate 3 and I will be moving on to advanced level on fortnight. But, to be honest, I didn't really do well on the test yesterday, especially speaking test. I have to work really hard from now on.

And the last was an impromptu midnight movie with my mother. It was first suggested by my mother at around 10pm and I was like, "Sure, why not?". Immediately,  I searched for any movie showing now and I found a movie - Skiptrace, directed and acted by, no other than my favourite actor, Jackie Chan!!! Of course, I wouldn't want to miss it. And so, we went to the nearest shopping mall and booked a 12am ticket.

As expected of Jackie Chan, the action-packed movie is amazing and thrilling. Every part of the show is so Jackie Chan. His comedy and his moves never fail to bring laughter to everyone. It feels like I'm back to my childhood time. It is so fulfilling. I had a really good laugh. Besides, it also taught us about upholding an honour and keeping a promise, which is an appropriate movie to give your child a lesson. It is fun to learn this way. Thanks Jackie, for all your sacrifices made!! ๐Ÿ˜˜

Oh, this might not be related but here's a countdown for my final: exactly 3 weeks! Buck up, girl!! Go study!!!๐Ÿ˜

That concludes my week. It is a packed, tired and satisfying one. ๐Ÿ˜‰
