Hello!  When I was visiting my relatives yesterday, one of my relatives who went to Japan brought back this chocolate from Lotte.  At first I thought it was just a normal Lotte milk chocolate bar. However, as I unpacked it,  I noticed the difference in texture as I broke the first row. It doesn't have the usual firm breaking, but a more soft breaking as though it's been exposed to heat for a while.  Throwing the piece of chocolate in my mouth, the texture is unusually light and airy, which later turns back to its usual - smooth and milky texture. The taste remains the same as the normal milk chocolate bar.  So, it's like eating a chocolate cake. Not the usual chocolate cake,  but a 100% chocolate cake.  Look at the air sac that is responsible for this texture: I totally recommend it for those who don't really like chocolate as it doesn't feel heavy. Hello!! Here's another post of Japanese snacks that can be found in Malaysia. And today, both of the snacks are from Shojikiya, a higher end Japanese store in Malaysia (if you compare with Daiso... it is of a pricy side...) Kinoko Chocolate - RM10.50 I have read about this biscuits in a magazine about snacks in Japan and I believe like Doubutsu Yochi , it is a childhood snack. I have always wanted to try it and finally, I found it in Shojikiya and immediately, I bought it. It comes in a packet full of "mushrooms". Thankfully, it is not filled with "air", so I think it is worth the money. And as per the box said, It has 2 layers of chocolates, dark chocolate and milk chocolate (I supposed it is Meiji chocolate, since they are from the same company, and I love LOVE Meiji chocolate!), and they match perfectly with the cracker. Hi everyone!! Happy Wesak Day!! Previously, I wrote on Japanese Snacks but this time is sweets!! Sakuma Fruit Drops [Daiso - RM 5.30 (GST included)] It becomes famous because of the movie "Grave of the Fireflies" (It is a sad anti-war film which tells the story of two siblings who struggled to survive during the final month of the World War II). In case, you haven't watched it, I strongly recommend it to you (a must watch film!). Back to the topic. It has different flavours (grape, pineapple, orange, apple and lemon) and from what I recalled, previously there isn't any chocolate flavour but now they do. I also tasted the mint one but I think the mint one is not supposed to be in there (it went to the wrong packaging? o.O). Hello, guysss !! Not being able to go to Japan, I frequently visit stores like Daiso or Shojikiya in Malaysia. However, yesterday I went to Aeon Big in SS15, Subang Jaya, previously known as Carrefour, and I found that the imported area sells a lot of Japanese snacks that can't be found in Daiso or Shojikiya. One good example is Pumpkin Kit Kat. Originally, I thought of buying it since I always wanted to try one after one of the youtuber, +Rachel & Jun, tried it. However, I did not as it was very expensive. For your information, it is RM 18.90 and the package size is the same as the one that can be found in Rachel & Jun's video . There are also the Green Tea and the Strawberry flavours too.  So, these are what I bought. Bourbon - Buranchuru   Doubutsu Yochi Doubutsu Yochi (RM 10.90) They are "animal-shaped biscuits topped with natural colouring cream", is what it says on the packet. (I'm not sure if it is the exact translation...
