About: This is a story between vampires and humans who are living together in a modern world after a peace treaty between them had formed 200 years ago. Though they are living together, the vampires' identity are not revealed and they are still being seen as monsters who desire humans' blood by the humans. Because of the many unknowns about vampires, vampires are not welcomed and most of the people wish them to be annihilated. So, how do they survive in this world?

Baek Ma Ri, who is a vampire, wants to live peacefully in the human world and wishes to graduate in her new high school without transferring again. But, her dream is shattered when she is attracted to the sweet-smelling blood of Jung Jae Min, a normal high school boy who hates vampires. Why is she attracted to his blood and how could she stop her craving for his blood?

I am attracted to this manhwa as the storyline, vocabulary and drawings are kept as simple as possible. It is easy to read and understand and it is fully-coloured as well. It is a wise choice to read this manga after reading too many complicated mangas. While being kept to the simplest, the story is rich and entertaining and the expressions of every character are well expressed.

Since it is a webtoon, their presentation is a little different from the usual manga. But, I don't think it poses much of a problem. 

Since I am watching the Kdrama too, I'll touch a little about it. Kdrama is a little from the Webtoon and it involves both the modern period, the period before the treaty was formed and the modern period again. The sharp turning point confuses everyone, including me and I even hesitated to continue the drama. Later, I decided to continue to see how it turns out and it turns out to be ok. Of course, the storyline of the drama will be different from the Webtoon, but the main characters and some part of the stories remain.

It's finally a holiday!! There has been a paused to my blogpost as I was really busy attending classes, studying and taking exams. However, those are not relating to ICAEW. I believed that I have told you of my changing of plan long before I went to volunteer in Japan. Internship Experience in Ryokan (旅館 - Japanese-styled Hotel)

'いらっしゃいませ' (Irasshaimase!)、'ありがとうございます' (Arigatou gozaimasu!) Very common terms but the most polite terms. These 2 terms accompanied me during my whole internship period.  If you do not know, I internship-ed in Japan for 2 months in the service industry. They are luxury ryokans strategically located closed to tourist attractions, which provide great hospitality and ultimate relaxation to the guests. Internship Experience in Ryoutei (料亭)

Ryoutei is a luxurious traditional Japanese restaurant, which served kaiseki style meals for business and formal meetings (source from Wikipedia). Everyone that goes to a Ryoutei has a purpose. It is not just a simple filling the stomach meal. It can be a business meeting, a celebration, a family meeting, a book sharing session, a reunion, a party or any occasion you can think of, which is why the customers going there are usually dressed formally. Having said that, anyone are welcomed to visit a ryoutei to enjoy the exquisite, delicate meal prepared by a qualified chef and served by the beautiful omotenashi-san (something like waitress?). However, do remember to make a reservation in advance as meals are prepared freshly according to the number of customers.
