About: Mana is an exorcist who is trained to fight vampires since she was a child. One day, she is ordered by his father (priest) to capture a vampire that is blended with the society and is living among the human. How will she identify the vampire? As soon as she reaches at her new school, an incident happens where she met Okamoto, a carefree vampire who quickly exposes  his identity when they first met. What's more shocking is that Okamoto does not consume blood directly from human, but instead he feeds through blood transfusion?! Mana is shocked by this unexpected situation and so she decides to observe him before taking the next step. As the story goes on, other characters with supernatural abilities appear. How will Mana handle this? Will she exterminate all of them?

HA! Another modern vampire story where the vampire has evolved to something beyond imagination. Can you believe it, eating through blood transfusion?? Truly, this whole story is full of surprise and laughter. (Oh my god, I cannot stop laughing!! XD) What's more about this manga is that readers' expressions (well, probably my expressions only...) are illustrated through Mana. Whatever you found shocking, Mana is shocked too. As though Mana is you, you is Mana. 

The art, too, is clean, clear and beautiful. All characters can be easily differentiated and they are lively. The artist also wrap things up nicely, although there are not many chapters. Short but fun. I will recommend this manga for a change of pace. As usual, I will end this post with some pictures.

Quitting ICAEW (Not official)

It's finally a holiday!! There has been a paused to my blogpost as I was really busy attending classes, studying and taking exams. However, those are not relating to ICAEW. I believed that I have told you of my changing of plan long before I went to volunteer in Japan. Internship Experience in Ryokan (旅館 - Japanese-styled Hotel)

'いらっしゃいませ' (Irasshaimase!)、'ありがとうございます' (Arigatou gozaimasu!) Very common terms but the most polite terms. These 2 terms accompanied me during my whole internship period.  If you do not know, I internship-ed in Japan for 2 months in the service industry. To know how I came across this internship opportunity, click here .  The ryokans, aka Japanese-styled hotel, that I worked in were Takimotokan Yukinosato (滝元館遊季の里) and Umi no Hana (海の花). They are luxury ryokans strategically located closed to tourist attractions, which provide great hospitality and ultimate relaxation to the guests. Internship Experience in Ryoutei (料亭)

Ryoutei is a luxurious traditional Japanese restaurant, which served kaiseki style meals for business and formal meetings (source from Wikipedia). Everyone that goes to a Ryoutei has a purpose. It is not just a simple filling the stomach meal. It can be a business meeting, a celebration, a family meeting, a book sharing session, a reunion, a party or any occasion you can think of, which is why the customers going there are usually dressed formally. Having said that, anyone are welcomed to visit a ryoutei to enjoy the exquisite, delicate meal prepared by a qualified chef and served by the beautiful omotenashi-san (something like waitress?). However, do remember to make a reservation in advance as meals are prepared freshly according to the number of customers.
