About: This story involves Hikaru Takabayashi, who was once bullied by her jealous schoolmates of her modelling in a famous commercial in grade-school. Traumatised by it, she keeps a low profile and is determined to lead a quiet and normal life in Seika Girls' Academy, where her mother is one of the alumni. However, she immediately becomes the spotlight of the school after being a roommate of a super famous idol, Izumi Kido. Though she tries to keep her distance with Izumi, she discovers Izumi's secret and is threatened to keep the secret, by all means. As Hikaru is kind, she ends up helping Izumi a lot and is constantly being targeted by Izumi's fangirls and Momochi from the school newspaper, who wants to get a scoop about Izumi from Hikaru. Being pressured by many parties, how will Hikaru overcome all these problems? As the story develops, Hikaru finds herself in a complex love chain where she is helped by Izumi, which later develops into another lovely complex. Who will Hikaru choose as her partner? 

While the storyline may seem normal, it is not normal when it comes to the number of pursuers a character may have. Hikaru alone has at least 4 love interests (more of 2 lovers and a few pursuers?), and don't even count Izumi, the famous idol's pursuers. There will be quite a few (or maybe many?). So, you can now probably imagine how Hikaru will have a tough time to keep Izumi's secret from the pursuers and to manage her love life? (Truly, Hikaru should be given an award for this XD)

The storyline has a comfortable flow and the art too, is beautiful, clean and neat. It is just that sometimes, you may see Hikaru as a guy and sometimes as a girl. Is it done purposely or maybe it is just needed to illustrate Hikaru's strong character? Only Shigematsu Takako knows. I totally recommend this manga to those who love romance. It's finally a holiday!! There has been a paused to my blogpost as I was really busy attending classes, studying and taking exams. However, those are not relating to ICAEW. I believed that I have told you of my changing of plan long before I went to volunteer in Japan. Internship Experience in Ryokan (旅館 - Japanese-styled Hotel)

'いらっしゃいませ' (Irasshaimase!)、'ありがとうございます' (Arigatou gozaimasu!) Very common terms but the most polite terms. These 2 terms accompanied me during my whole internship period.  If you do not know, I internship-ed in Japan for 2 months in the service industry. To know how I came across this internship opportunity, click here .  The ryokans, aka Japanese-styled hotel, that I worked in were Takimotokan Yukinosato (滝元館遊季の里) and Umi no Hana (海の花). They are luxury ryokans strategically located closed to tourist attractions, which provide great hospitality and ultimate relaxation to the guests. Internship Experience in Ryoutei (料亭)

Ryoutei is a luxurious traditional Japanese restaurant, which served kaiseki style meals for business and formal meetings (source from Wikipedia). Everyone that goes to a Ryoutei has a purpose. It is not just a simple filling the stomach meal. It can be a business meeting, a celebration, a family meeting, a book sharing session, a reunion, a party or any occasion you can think of, which is why the customers going there are usually dressed formally. Having said that, anyone are welcomed to visit a ryoutei to enjoy the exquisite, delicate meal prepared by a qualified chef and served by the beautiful omotenashi-san (something like waitress?). However, do remember to make a reservation in advance as meals are prepared freshly according to the number of customers.
